Educational Requirements: Master’s Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Environmental Sciences (with evidence of having qualified Mathematics and Physics based courses)/ allied disciplines of Physics or Mathematics with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the 7 point scale.
Qualifications: Good academic records with Doctoral degree in Physics/Mathematics/Environmental Sciences/allied disciplines of Physics or Mathematics with specialisation in the field of Computer Programming applications in Environmental Modelling/Atmospheric Physics/Climate Dynamics.
Experience Requirements: A minimum of eight years experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/College or Accredited Research Institution, excluding the period of doctoral research, with some distinction in the areas of scholarship as evidenced by quality of a minimum of five publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
Desired Skills: Knowledge of computer programming in C, C++, FORTRAN etc., with proven records of conducting independent research and teaching of computer programming applications in Environmental Modelling and Simulation.

Educational Requirements:Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Environmental Sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade with Ph. D. in Chemistry/Environmental Sciences. Candidates should have a proven research record (evident from high quality research publications) of having works in the field of persistence, monitoring, remediation and impact assessment of chemicals/pollutants in soil and water at doctoral and post doctoral levels.
Other Qualification:Decontamination/reclamation and impact assessment of chemicals in the Environment with proven records of conducting independent research and teaching of Environmental Modelling and Simulation.
Experience Requirements:A minimum of ten years experiences in teaching, and/or research in a University National Level institution, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level.

General Instructions: 1. 9. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where the number of applications received in response to an advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates, the University, at its discretion, may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications/experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
