Pay Scale:Rs.16,000/- plus HRA@ 20% per month

Educational Requirements:1st class M.Sc. or M.Pharma in Organic or Physical Chemistry, Bio-Physics, Biotechnology

Experience Requirements:Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above. Electron microscopy of organic/bio-organic/bio-macromolecules will have added advantage

How To Apply: Such of the candidates who fulfils the eligibility conditions may please Walk-in-Interview to the position (s) of Project Assistant, Project Fellow, Research Intern & JRF (Project), Research Associate, Sr. Project Fellow etc. on 29th July 2015 in the Seminar Hall of this Institute (CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology, Sector-39/A, Chandigarh-160036) at 8.30 A.M (sharp) along with complete bio-data in the prescribed format (to be downloaded from the IMTECH website attached with this advertisement) duly filled and signed and enclosing self-attested photocopies of certificates/testimonials in support of Date of Birth, Qualifications/experience, etc. and one recent passport size photograph. Original certificates are also required to be produced for verification at the time of Interview. Those candidate(s) intend to appear for more than one position, will have to submit separate application on prescribed proforma against each position alongwith self-attested copy of certificate(s)/testimonial(s), photographs etc. separately. Candidates reaching after 11.00 A.M will not be allowed to appear in the Interview. Note 1: It is expected that the interview(s) may continue for 2-3 days/more which depend upon the number of candidates appearing. The Candidates are advised to come prepared to stay in Chandigarh for 2-3 days. No stay arrangement is being made by the Institute. Therefore, they have to make to their own arrangement for boarding/lodging at Chandigarh. Note 2: Thesis submitted and result awaited candidates are not eligible for interview. Note 3: No TA will be paid for attending the interview.

General Instructions: The position is purely on temporary on Contract basis on behalf of the sponsorer. However, the tenure of the Project can be extended depending upon the tenure of the Project and the performance of the candidate. It will be co-terminus with the duration of the project. Contract may be terminated any time by giving one month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim whatsoever implicit or explicit for consideration against any CSIR post.
