Pay Scale: Selected candidate will be paid a monthly honorarium as per the prevailing DST norms, and he/she may be awarded SRF after successful assessment at the end of two years.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics with first class or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST) or equivalent in last qualifying degree having passed not later than 2013. A candidates with NET qualification will be preferred.

Title of the Project: “Nuclear Structure Near Limits of Stability”

Tenure: Contract basis for a period of one year (extendable upto three years, subject to satisfactory performance). The planned work is primarily in the domain of Nuclear Physics. The project has both theoretical and experimental components. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the experimental nuclear structure programmes using modern high resolution gamma spectrometers available at national and international accelerator facilities.
