Educational Requirements:Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/ Foreign University.
Other Qualification:Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC. Notwithstanding anything contained in the sub – clauses (i) and (ii), candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/ Institutions.
Experience Requirements:A professional artist with highly commendable professional achievement in the concerned subject, who should have ; i. First Class diploma in Visual (Fine) arts discipline from the recognized Institution of India/Abroad; ii. Five years of experience of holding regular regional/national exhibitions/workshops with evidence and, iii. Ability to explain the logical reasoning of the subject concerned and adequate knowledge to teach theory with illustrations in that discipline.

The Candidate should submit the printout of the downloaded application form duly filled along with attested copies of the necessary documents to the Registrar, SNDT Women’s University, Establishment Section, Churchgate, Mumbai – 400 020 on or before 01/06/2015. 2. The envelope containing the application form should be super scribed as “Application for the post of __________________, Post Code No. _________ to the Registrar, SNDT Women’s University, Establishment Department, 01, N.T. Road, Mumbai – 400 020. 3. Applications in other forms such as Bio-data, C.V any other offline mode of application will not be considered. 4. Separate application should be submitted for each post. 5. Candidates residing abroad must send a hard copy of an application by post duly signed, so as to reach this office on or before the last date. Scanned photo copy of an application will not be considered. 6. A candidate furnishing incorrect or false information shall stand disqualified at any stage. 7. Qualifications and experience as notified by the Government of Maharashtra, University Grants Commission, INC, RCI and SNDT Women’s University from time to time will be applicable as per rules. 8. Teaching Experience as an approved Teacher will only be considered. 9. No correspondence with ineligible candidates will be made by the University authority. 10. General Instructions: 1. As per the Notification No. SRV 2000/CR(17/2000)XII, dated 28th March 2005 issued by General Administration Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai a candidate shall submit the declaration of the small family in the prescribed proforma attached with an application as Declaration Form – “A”. 2. Posts reserved for DT(A), NT-(B), NT-(C), NT-(D) category are interchangeable, if candidates belonging to DT(A), NT-(B), NT-(C). NT-(D) are not available, these posts will be filled in interchangeably from DT(A), NT-(B), NT-(C), NT-(D) category, as per Government policy. 3. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories as recognized in the State Maharashtra shall only be considered under reserved categories. The candidate belonging to the reserved categories from outside the State of Maharashtra will be treated as Open. 4. Reservation for women and persons with disabilities, etc., will be as per the norms of Government of Maharashtra. 5. Relevant experience and educational qualifications will be counted as on the last date. 6. For reserved posts, candidates, belonging to the concerned reserved category only should apply. 7. Application Form Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. 8. Candidates already employed must submit their applications through proper channel. 9. Candidates are requested to refer the website sndt.ac.in from time to time as all information and circulars will be notified on the website by the University. The University will not entertain any inquiry regarding eligibility criteria. 10. The University will not be responsible for any delay or non acknowledgement of postal correspondence. 11. The University reserves all rights not to fill some or all the post advertised and to change the number of posts advertised and/or reservation. The decision of the appointing authority will be final and binding on applicants and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. 12. Applications incomplete in any respect, applications without required supporting documents or those received after the last date of receipt of application will not be considered. 13. No travelling/halting or other allowances will be paid to you by the University for attending the above interview. 14. Accommodation will not be provided by the University authority. 15.
