Educational Requirements:Graduate in Agricultural Science / or diploma holder in engineering/ technology

Other Qualification:Knowledge of Computers Ms -office, Power point, Excel, internet etc.

How To Apply: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions at the ICAR – Indian Institute of Maize Research, New Delhi and its regional centers under Non-Plan.

General Instructions: 1) The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially upto 31st March 2016, extendable to a maximum of another one year term based on the needs of the organization and performance of the candidate. However, maximum duration shall not be extended beyond two years or completion of XII Five Year Plan, whichever is earlier. 2) Emoluments: Consolidated emoluments of Rs. 15,000/- per month for Young Professional I and Rs. 25,000/- per month for Young Professional II will be paid. 3) Age limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on the closing date of the application. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST and women candidates and 3 years to OBC candidates shall be given as per ICAR rules. 4) No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview. 5) The candidates are required to submit the application in the attached format at the time of interview along with one passport size photograph pasted on it, self attested copies of certificates for age, and qualifications, reprints of publications and ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer, if any. Candidates have to bring all original documents at the time of interview. 6) The selected candidates shall not claim any regular appointment as the positions are purely temporary. 7) The decision of Director, IIMR will be final and binding in all respects.
